With daily sightings of Reindeer, Brambling and Bluethroat, we also saw Elk, Red Squirrel, Capercaillie, Waxwing, Siberian Jay, Pine Grosbeak, Arctic Redpoll and Little Bunting in the forest plus Mountain Hare, Willow Grouse, Long-tailed Skua, Rough-legged Buzzard, Shorelark, Lapland and Snow Buntings and a stunning Ruff display on the tundra. On Varanger Fjord we spotted Minke Whale, Otter, Long-tailed Duck, King and Steller's Eiders, Brünnich's Guillemot, Gyr Falcon, Red-throated Pipit, White-tailed Eagle at the nest and a feast of waders, including displaying Temminck's Stint and Red-necked Phalarope. Try picking one star bird out of that lot!
