Fine malt whisky, Scottish dancing, excellent food, real fires, dramatic winter scenery, Deer, Seals and close views of Otters. We had all these plus fabulous birds like Slavonian Grebe, Merlin, Peregrine, Hen Harrier, Golden Eagle, Black Guillemot, Purple Sandpiper, Twite, Chough, Raven, Scaup, Long-tailed Duck, Barnacle and White-fronted Geese in their thousands and all three Divers. What a fabulous way to start the New Year.
