El Rincón de Emilio, a traditional family run Spanish Hostal in the picturesque hill top village of Berdun, was the ideal base for exploring the beautiful valleys and mountains of Navarra and Aragón, where common everyday birds included Red and Black Kites, Griffons galore, Crag Martin, Black Redstart and Serin, with singing Nightingales as omnipresent here as Robins are back home. 

Booted and Short-toed Eagles, Red-backed and Woodchat Shrikes, Rock Thrush, Sparrow and Bunting, Alpine Chough and Swift, Wryneck, Bee-eater, Hoopoe and Golden Oriole, Lammergeier and even Wallcreeper…… we had them all!
