With many of the Slimbridge “crowd” joining this trip it was sure to be a lively weekend. No one could fault the exquisite food or splendid location of The Royal Hotel in the beautiful Wye Valley. The dawn chorus here is magical. At nearby Yat Rock we all enjoyed aerobatic displays by the resident pair of Peregrine Falcons. 

The weather was ideal for our woodland walks among the Bluebells and Ramsons, listening to all the birdsongs. We not only heard the lovely Nightingale but even managed to see at least two. What a climax to another super weekend.
