Wild Canaries ~ Birds & Landscapes

In the very different but wild landscapes of Tenerife, La Gomera and Fuerteventura, we cleaned up on all the endemics and specialities, including Canary, African Blue Tit and Blue Chaffinch on Tenerife, Bolle's and Laurel Pigeons, Tenerife Kinglet and Canary Island Chiffchaff on La Gomera, with Houbara Bustard, Egyptian Vulture, Ruddy Shelduck, Cream-coloured Courser, Barbary Partridge, Black-bellied Sandgrouse, Laughing Dove, Southern Grey Shrike, Berthelot's Pipit, the Chat of course, and even Ring-necked Duck on Fuerteventura, bringing our trip list total to a very creditable 67 species, and what we had seen was seen really well, making this a very successful and enjoyable trip.
