Tenerife, Fuerteventura and La Gomera produced all seven Canarian endemics plus top quality extras like Ruddy Shelduck, Houbara Bustard, Barbary Falcon, Black-bellied Sandgrouse, Berthelot's Pipit, Spectacled Warbler, Southern Grey Shrike, Trumpeter Finch and Spanish Sparrow. For most of us the gorgeous Blue Chaffinches with their pointed silver beaks, white eye rings and clean white bottoms were the bird of the trip.
